The VIC Branch Committee invite you to attend their panel discussion around supplier diversity awareness in the Facilities Management industry on Thursday 10th November.

Supplier diversity awareness is about having some knowledge and understanding of diverse supply chains and the positive impacts of including Indigenous business in your supply chain. Our panel discussion will bring together indigenous business, corporate organisations, and government representatives to discuss how to engage and foster indigenous supplier partnerships within your business.

This session is a great entry level discussion for businesses who are starting out their supplier diversity journey. The session will assist participants with information and tools on how to commence their journey, and will include a presentation and supplier representation table by indigenous Supply Nation – a non-profit organisation that aims to grow the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander business sector through the promotion of supplier diversity in Australia.

The session will provide tips on topics such as supplier diversity basics, benefits and positive outcomes, the impact on indigenous communities and reconciliation action plans.

After presentations, attendees will enjoy the opportunity to network with beverages and a delicious grazing table provided by Platter & Boe.
