At the “Ask the Experts” session on 10 May, Kevin Powell, Director of the US General Services Administration’s (GSA) Center for Emerging Buildings Technologies, will guide us through the center’s work on evaluating technologies for the built environment. The Green Proving Ground (GPG) program leverages GSA’s real estate portfolio to evaluate innovative building technologies. The program aims to drive down operational costs in federal buildings and help lead market transformation by deploying new technologies. The GPG helps accelerate market acceptance by selecting technologies at the edge of commercialization, piloting installations, evaluating real-time performance, and identifying those with broad deployment potential.
